Everyone aims for a smooth 144 FPS at 4K on Ultra. That's not achievable for us, so we settle for something better. I'm currently at 1200p with an average of over 50 FPS and at least 40. My setup usually uses maximum settings, though I sometimes turn off anti-aliasing. Would you prefer 1440p, a 21x9 ultra wide format, or 4K with fewer settings? Think about how resolution affects image quality—do higher resolutions actually cause more loss of clarity because we have to lower other parameters?
The display is set to 1440x900. I typically achieve 60 frames per second using ultra settings and FXAA.
I attempt to maintain 60fps at 5760x1080 resolution. Realizing it's unattainable with a single GPU, I reduce the quality until I reach that target. When lowering to medium or lower settings, I switch to 1080p with ultra options, which usually delivers 60 fps or higher. Up to now, this approach has only been used for Far Cry 4.
I focus on achieving 100+ frames per second and smooth gameplay. Outside of that, I prioritize stability and a comfortable experience.
