Hello all, so I am trying to start up a Minecraft server (go ahead and cringe now) and I am trying to go through with port forwarding. My network modem is a Motorola MB7420. When I log in to the modems page through my browser instead of getting many of the advanced options, I just get status through the advanced tab. So is there something I am doing wrong? Or is my modem just bugged or something?

That's a cable modem ONLY, it doesn't do any port forwarding, it just converts coax to ethernet. You port forward in your router, not the modem.

Regarding connection or security, there could be additional choices. Uncertain Edit: Nvm

Certainly, I intend for just a few individuals to gain entry.
