Technical problems with PC and Wi-Fi connection.
I possess a TP-Link router in my living room and a TP-Link adapter on my PC. Everything connects to wifi, but my PC struggles to locate it and keeps showing "cannot connect." It works fine with my phones' hotspot, yet when my phones move near the PC, the speed drops instantly to zero. All drivers are up-to-date, and I even used the CD that came with the adapter.
It might just be a weak signal area, probably not the computer itself but the adapter is the issue. Even if your phone loses connection right next to it, the problem could still persist.
Yes, you can access your router from your phone without issues, and the connection speeds are generally strong.
Consider testing a different wireless adapter, as your device might be experiencing issues.
