Technical problems with graphics card performance
It runs smoothly at idle, typically around 85 watts, but performance can change based on conditions.
I connected the 12Pin to 4x 8 Pin PCIe adapter into four separate 8 Pin cables and then linked everything to the PSU. The setup uses a Tuf x670e Plus with Wi-Fi 2x, 16GB Corsair Dominator DDR5, and a 4090 OC Asus Thor 1200P. No riser cable was needed.
Idle everything is super smooth, it sits pretty stable at 2200 MHz. It will pull slightly more with certain actions but never more than 120w and never for long. When under load though it locks up at 85 and 210 MHz exactly every time, I’m not sure if this is a minimum clock speed and power draw or something to that effect and then it will just lock up and the graphics card powers down
Yeah, I didn't check. Your PSU looks good since it's from a reputable brand. Have you attempted to run Cinebench and stress your CPU to observe any crashes?
