In November 2019, I assembled my first gaming PC with a friend. It performed exceptionally well. Or at least as well as possible with my limited internet connection. Anyway...my PC lost connection to my Wi-Fi. I assumed it was unusual since my Chromebook and phone worked perfectly. I thought it might be due to a Wi-Fi card issue. But then I considered using my personal hotspot on my phone. It connected fine, so the problem wasn’t with the hotspot. When I looked into the PC troubleshooting, it indicated that the Wi-Fi I used previously was out of range. Even though both the PC and router stayed in the same spots since purchase, I’m really puzzled about what’s happening. HELP ME!

Remove the WiFi card driver from Device Manager and restart the computer. This might fix a corrupted driver.

Yes, you can do this without Wi-Fi.

I believe Windows 10 will reinstall a standard driver to fix the issue. It helped me when I lost internet on my PC while everything else on the network worked fine.
