They refer to transitioning your gaming setup to a personal computer. I'm playing games on my PC.

That's moderation action for the forums. Your thread will receive more eyes that might know about the issue when thread is placed in proper subforum. Here you are asking about the game specifically, not the platform (though those too would be better in PC Gaming section).

Have you checked this resource: https://support.rocketleague.com/hc/en-u...ting-on-PC. Also, there’s a menu item labeled Settings > Gameplay with an Input Buffer option. You might want to tweak it to lower latency during games. The choices are Default, STS, CSTS. It may not fix connection problems but could ease lag. Generally, the RL servers seem inconsistent, especially when many players are online. I’ve had a solid, steady internet connection using a wired gigabit ethernet on a business-grade switch and router. I’m in the North American West Region, mostly served by NA West and NA East servers. Despite this, lag, frequent disconnects, high ping (often 100+), packet loss, and even server drops after idle periods are common. My average ping is 70 on NA East and 20-30 on NA West. I’ve played since 2016, including late-night sessions, and the experience feels much smoother then.

My coworker repeatedly lost access to the matches. Various fixes from guides failed completely, even basic steps like clearing the cache or fixing file integrity didn’t help. Eventually, a helpful tip appeared in a comment section of an article: disabling particle effects in the settings. I suspect this might have been relevant for my colleague, though my recollection could be off. While searching online, I discovered some user experiences about updating or downgrading GPU drivers, though success varied depending on the graphics card. Here’s the referenced article: https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitio...shing.html. The exact comment I found is: Alejandro Dirksen • a year ago OK, I’ve faced this problem since Epic Games released it in 2020 and initially thought nothing would work. Ultimately, the following steps proved effective: 1. Launch CMD as admin and execute sfc/scannow to fix issues or repair via media tool. 2. Run Epic Games or your launcher as admin—avoid running Rocket League as admin, as it won’t start. Use compatibility mode for Windows 8. 3. Ensure all drivers are up to date by checking them in Device Manager. 4. Most importantly, examine the event viewer and log files; the issue was likely a game particle component. Turning off particle effects (including weather) stabilized the game and stopped crashes. These were the most relevant actions tried. I hope this assists you. Wink.

I receive a latency of 55-60 ms from the Sea Asia server. My internet connection is stable.

It seems likely the issue lies with their servers. Accepting it is the best approach.
