It occurred yesterday while I was swapping out the CPU fan. A screw linking the heat sink and the motherboard came loose, forcing me to take the board off completely. I noticed someone in r/alienware facing a similar issue, but here I stripped the part on the motherboard itself instead of just the LCD cable connector. Does this mean I should replace the motherboard? I just wanted to confirm before sending it to Dell.

Yes, this part should be connected to the mainboard. The mainboard requires fixing or swapping it out.
