Hello, I see your Windows 11 setup is working well now but it was acting odd before. You mentioned slow performance when dragging or moving windows, lagging when opening folders, and that restarting Explorer helped but the problem returned later. You've tried several fixes like driver updates, different drivers, and even a full reinstall, but nothing seems to work consistently. Your system specs are solid—Ryzen 3600X, NVMe M.2, 32GB DDR4, RX 5700XT. I'm not sure if anyone else has faced the same issues or what might be causing them.

This problem usually stems from CPU slowdowns or a faulty driver impacting the GUI. Try to reproduce it during a YouTube video playback and observe any changes in performance. Check if the issue occurs when Task Manager is active and monitor CPU usage closely.

Thanks for your patience. I was able to reproduce the problem while watching a YouTube video. Playback and CPU usage remained stable, staying close to their original levels. Based on this, I tried some hardware troubleshooting steps—first unplugging the second monitor resolved the issue. I plan to run the PC with only one monitor for a few hours to check if it recurs.

EDIT: The problem continues even with just one monitor connected.

EDIT 2: Effective fixes include restarting explorer.exe or swapping monitors temporarily.

EDIT 3: After some testing, I discovered Stardock Fences causes playback issues post-W11 updates. Disabling it fixed the problem.

Launch CMD with admin privileges and execute "sfc -scannow". This may fix damaged Windows system files.

Thanks! I had completed that earlier too, but I adjusted my update afterward.

That reminds me of AMD Studder. (It really frustrated me). Make sure you’re using the newest MOTO BIOS and chipset drivers. Then I noticed you fixed it, haha!
