I recently installed a 6600xt graphics card onto my existing build featuring a Ryzen 5 3400G with integrated graphics. Now I’m experiencing low frame rates in games such as Warzone (60fps on all low settings) and Valorant (120 fps with stuttering on low). In Valorant, my FPS dropped compared to before the upgrade, and I’m unsure why. After applying MSI Afterburner on Rust, I noticed 50% GPU utilization at 1400MHz—significantly below its base clock—and 70% CPU usage. The GPU temperature stayed around 50°C. Have you tried anything else? Your specs include a 2x8GB 3000MHz RAM and a 550W power supply. I’ve removed the old drivers via ddu, downloaded the latest ones, updated BIOS and chipset drivers, but the issue persists.

It seems you're asking about a connection to the 6600XT display. Are you seeing any issues with forcing video through your GPU in the BIOS? If so, that could be the cause.

I'm linked to the GPU for the screen. To ensure the video runs through your GPU in BIOS, adjust the settings accordingly.

The instructions vary slightly depending on the motherboard model (my approach follows a gigabyte BIOS setup), yet generally they are: 1. Restart the PC 2. Hold the "Del" key on your keyboard (or its equivalent to access BIOS) 3. Go to the peripherals or chipset section 4. Verify your initial display output is in PCIe 1 slot (or your 6600xt installation spot) 5. Find "Internal Graphics" 6. Turn it off and test again 7. Sometimes simply resetting everything to "optimised defaults" in BIOS can resolve issues. If that doesn’t work, try these alternatives: 1. From the desktop, right-click and choose display settings 2. At the bottom of the screen, graphics options should appear 3. Browse for specific applications 4. Open a game you wish to test (e.g., Halo Infinite) – navigate to SteamLibrary > Steamapps > common > Halo Infinite > HaloInfinite.exe 5. The app should appear in the list 6. Select options and choose High Performance (or the best GPU setting for your model) *If it isn’t visible, you may need updated GPU drivers or compatibility fixes between your board and GPU. If the first method didn’t help, consider resetting BIOS via "Load Optimised Defaults" and adjusting XMP/overclocking settings or clearing CMOS.* I hope this assists.

I recently purchased the RX 6600 after using GTX 1050 Ti for five years, and I’m facing the same issue you mentioned. Have you discovered any fixes? Thank you.
