My first post in these forums, so I am unaware of a format if there is one, I have been following star citizen for a while, and am really excited. Building a PC for it, peripherals and all that good stuff. Me and my cousin decided to pledge some ships in it, a hornet for dogfighting, escorting and a 315i for exploration. However we are thinking of getting a constellation together. From what I've seen so far, it needs a crew of 4 to really be "worth" it.. Also we want to buy and train on it as soon as its flight ready with a module. The question is, is there any groups already formed, who would take us in and promise us some crew for the ship. I imagine it would need to be 8-10 people or so with a TS server to ensure that we always get at least 1 more guy to man a turret or fly the merlin. Our buying of the ship depends on the confidence that we will be able to utilise it fully. So for any group interested in having us, a little about us, we have been gaming for over a decade, and based in Europe. We love flight sims, and although we have a tight working schedule, we strive for immersion and improving our skills each moment in the game. We hope to mostly exploit resources, mine/trade/smuggle/look for resources etc, and only fight for reasonable profit or to defend ourselves. Essentially we want to be influential in the SC community from the start, may it be wealth or firepower. Hefty text here, though I might add, we arent this dull once the formalities are out of the way

I understood that after clicking the link. Appreciate the details. I’ll implement it later, just need to complete the PC setup and get the ships ready.

You can hire ai crew if there is no body to help you, I'll be able to help depending on time I have and if I'm not occupied on a mission or being a space hobo by jumping ship to ship. But I do intend to try and keep my rep clean.

we're searching for a tight-knit team to connect with regularly. this will help improve collaboration because we'll understand each other's habits and needs. working together with similar people feels more enjoyable and builds trust in completing tasks. this is the cousin from the initial post, of course.

Both of you are welcome in the sub forum. If you prefer a smaller circle, I’d stick around here to meet the regulars and get to know everyone. Occasionally an Elitist might pop in and cause some trouble, but I believe we’re all a friendly group.

The concept is about having a companion who stays, shares the rewards, and joins you on missions. We value teamwork over solo play—whether you want to fly fighters or not, we’re all about sticking together. If you prefer a smaller crew of skilled players rather than just pros, we’re looking for that kind of group. We’re expecting to start playing with you in a couple of months after finishing the desktop and acquiring your ships. I’m still checking on my cousin, who has a build ready, so he might join anytime soon.

It seems promising. Adding members to organizations allows you to ask the council to formally include your group within them.
