I need help solving the problem with connecting my new TCL 4K TV P635. On my Dell Inspiron 14 7425 with AMD Ryzen 5 5625U I can't make it run with 60hz, only 24hz is an option. But with all exact HDMI cables, my Macbook Air M1 runs perfectly with 4K and 60hz. I tried almost everything I found on Reddit, or in Google and nothing helped. Maybe creating a custom resolution profile on Adrenalin will help? But I can't find the setting that will work. In every setting I input from articles I find, Adrenalin says it is not compatible with the monitor. Hope it is not a laptop that can't deliver 4K 60hz.

The device supports HDMI 1.4, which means it won't handle 4K at 60fps directly. USB-C appears compatible with DP1.4, so using a converter from C to HDMI 2.0 should work.

Hope is a great quality, but your laptop only supports HDMI 1.4. It can't handle more than 24 FPS at 4K resolution. On the other hand, you have DisplayPort 1.4 via USB-C, which should translate to HDMI 2.0. This would allow 4K60 performance. I believe this adapter could work; otherwise, you'd need a USB-C to DP adapter followed by a DisplayPort to HDMI active cable.

I didn't notice it was version 1.4. I thought it would have HDMI 2.0.
