Hello, I encountered a similar issue with my old HDD. It might be linked to the outdated OS installation and an older hard drive. After switching to a fresh OS on my new WD Blue, the problem persists. The taskbar still hides properly on my main screen. No luck with restarting explorer.exe. Any suggestions? P.S.

Hey there Faustas, What OS are you using? I'd check this KB from Microsoft: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...=windows-7 There's also this topic that you may find helpful: http://www.eightforums.com/general-suppo...-hide.html Posting a screenshot of the problem can also help us figure out what's the problem Post back with some additional info, Captain_WD.

It seems the issue might be related to an OS setting or a background process. Is this happening on Windows 8 or 8.1? Also, does the auto-hide feature on the main screen play a role here?

It might be useful to reach out to MS support regarding this issue. Would you consider limiting the task bar to your primary monitor only and checking if it disappears there? This approach could also prove beneficial: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...1af0832438 Captain_WD.
