Taskbar failure to initialize and applications failing to start are common issues.
Hi! I've been using this PC for about three weeks and Windows has always run really smoothly, fast and without issues... until last week... At first it boots quickly but when logging in it takes a long time to reach the desktop. It just keeps loading with "Welcome" messages, and once you get to the desktop none of your auto-launched apps open. Hovering over the taskbar doesn't show anything, and the mouse turns into a loading icon. But if I click my left mouse button a few times while the taskbar is visible, everything works again. It seems like Windows has stopped functioning properly... The PC was fine until last week. The issue doesn’t happen every time it starts, but often, especially after a restart. I even tried reinstalling Windows, but that didn’t help.
Settings > Startup apps. Disable any applications you don’t wish to launch at boot.
It might happen because something interfered with the startup process, making the taskbar fail and preventing your auto-boot applications from launching properly.
