You've got a stable build with solid components. The issue seems to be related to your taskbar tray and how it handles background applications. Try closing other programs before opening the taskbar, or consider using a lighter tray manager. Also, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date and that you're not running too many resource-heavy games at once.

M.2 samsung ssd performance has been stable lately. Some applications in the tray bar cause delays, especially when switching monitors. The mouse appears to lag, similar to using a lower refresh rate. This issue occurs with both the taskbar tray and certain programs like Bethesda. It's unclear if it's the tray interface or the applications themselves.

They're about four years old, so it seems they're letting you know it's time to say goodbye.

Wireless mouse available? If so, consider adjusting the USB port to rule out any issues.

I own a Logitech G702, but it's connected via USB instead of wireless. I'm still planning to switch to a different mouse and another USB port.
