I updated the system settings and adjusted certain registry entries to speed up boot time. Here’s a summary of the changes I made:
- Added Rainmeter to the startup list in regedit.
- Modified registry paths for Windows Explorer and other essential services.
- Removed or disabled unwanted startup entries for Autodesk360, SoftEther, and similar programs.
- Restored the Windows Defender entry after reopening regedit.
For stopping unwanted programs, you can use Task Manager or third-party tools to manage startup applications. If you need further help, let me know.
I accessed regedit via a batch file that launched command prompt, then initiated regedit. I'm currently holding onto information about what was removed.
