Hello, welcome to the community. I noticed my PC stuttering in Hogwarts Legacy and decided to check Task Manager. With only 16GB memory, utilization hit 80%+, suggesting I need more RAM for smooth performance. After using XMP settings previously, the game ran fine, but now it’s stuttering again. I’m puzzled because my HDD (Disk 0/DSmile was at full use even though no apps were running, while my SSD (Disk 2/SSmile showed only 4-5% usage despite the game being active. When I closed the game, HDD usage dropped and SSD went to zero. Could this mean my drives are slowing down the game or are they functioning properly? Let me know if you need more details about my specs.

Verify your system's pagefile configuration. Turn off the pagefile for your HDD.

I learned about page filing and plan to let Windows handle it, since it doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. I might also need more RAM eventually. Thanks!

Activate auto-manage exclusively for your SSD. This is the preferred setting.

Alright, I've completed that task. Only my SSDs are managed by the system, and the HDD is disabled. Appreciate it!
