Hello, I've recently noticed, whilst tweaking some of my settings, that whenever I am tabbed into PUBG, Task-Manager shows 0% GPU utilization. The game is running fine at around 200 fps, the GPU is running at a reasonable temperature for the actual load and the GPU load shows up in both HWMonitor and HWInfo, however not in Task-Manager. Things I've tried to resolve the issue: Restarting the game Updating Windows Restarting the PC Verifying game integrity None of the above worked, hence I am posting here. Setup: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x at 4.3 GHz all cores 4x8GB DDR4 3400 CL 16 NVIDIA RTX 3070 TUF 1TB 970 EVO as game storage 240GB Intenso SATA SSD as OS drive 1TB Toshiba DT01ACA HDD as mass storage MPG x570 GAMING EDGE WIFI Windows 10 Pro v 20H2 build 19042.1083 In the screenshot, you can see all the graphs, except VRAM usage sitting at pretty much zero (this was whilst in-game). The spike towards the end is from hitting alt+tab. Thanks in advance for any help in resolving this issue. Spoiler

If your game runs with reduced settings, GPU demand will decrease. Also, Task Manager reflects the GPU driver status to Windows. If there’s a problem, that’s likely due to the driver itself. What does the Windows Game Bar show when you press Win+G in-game? It should match what Task Manager displays, which helps verify the issue isn’t coming from the Task Manager but from the driver.

I think there is a missunderstanding... the usage shows as 0% in Task-Manager, when playing, not when the game is minimized. The game bar, as HWInfo and HWMonitor shows ~60% usage. Only Task-Manager shows 0%.

Task manager isn't always showing usage data, especially for DX12 games. It might have been updated around 20H2. Are you using a fairly old version of Windows?

Current PUBG, Windows 21H1, and Nvidia drivers 471.11 let the task manager display GPU activity. Perhaps consider updating everything.

The GPU drivers are set to version 471.11. Regarding the Windows update, your PC isn't locating a 21H1 update.

It seems you're encountering an issue. You can try updating using the Update Assistant here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software.../windows10

I've upgraded Windows to version 21H1, which took a long time—over an hour—but the problem remains. The GPU usage stays at 0% while playing PUBG. I also checked other games and they display GPU usage correctly. The issue only appears in PUBG. You can view the graph in the game bar compared to the task manager there.
