Task Manager fails to initiate a restart of File Explorer.
To avoid restarting the PC each time, you can turn on hot-plug support in the BIOS under SATA settings.
You can ignore the disk errors (as in; surprise removed). Those are from the testing I have just performed. I have crashed Windows Explorer, and attempted to restart it multiple times during this period, so presumably any errors should show up here. There's nothing under Windows Logs > Application. I completely reset everything and reinstalled Windows from scratch. It looks like the issue is resolved now, and I’m confident it will stay fixed permanently.
