The issue has persisted for some time, changing from time to time, which is quite bothersome. When the file explorer freezes or crashes, it can't be restarted via Task Manager. After right-clicking and selecting restart, the program simply closes without reopening. I can't launch it using Run, nor do I have access to the command prompt, PowerShell, or Windows Explorer. The only solution is to restart my computer or log out and log back in. The reason behind the crashes often includes actions like right-clicking files, creating or renaming files (though this doesn't always occur), and needing to restart the explorer each time I turn on my PC. My taskbar only appears once all drives are unlocked, which are protected by BitLocker encryption. Task Manager frequently fails to launch the explorer again. I've tried running SFC /Scannow several times, fixing corruption initially but not after further attempts. I've executed DISM commands (CleanupImage, ScanHealth, RestoreHealth) and reinstalled Windows. All malware scans came back clean. I would appreciate assistance if anyone can help.

Do you have any hard drives, external hard drives, SD cards, or USB drives attached to the PC? Then next time Explorer stops working, try removing those first. If you have any devices with built-in storage, they might behave similarly.

That's an odd error. Maybe try killing and restarting explorer with a batch script. Here's the code: taskkill /f /im explorer.exe start explorer.exe

Review Event Viewer for issues tied to Explorer.exe. I've checked that too, but no entries linked to Explorer or Task Manager appear. Consider examining System or Application logs next. Appreciate the help!

Your machine has several internal storage options (mainly HDD), but rarely any external drives connected. There are no SMART-related issues reported.

Consider removing all drives except the boot drive. If no problems appear, connect one drive at a time until you identify the faulty one. To avoid frequent restarts, enable hot-plug support in the BIOS settings.

I recently used it, but the explorer didn't reopen.

I can't export the logs or handle uploads directly. Please let me know if you need help with something else.
