I launched Steam and was prompted to join their hardware survey, so I did. While browsing the list, I spotted an inconsistency—it mentioned only two physical processors and four logical ones, even though my machine has an AMD A8-7600, which should be a quad-core processor. After checking CPU-Z, it showed four cores and four threads. Task Manager confirmed two cores and four threads. I’m confused about this discrepancy and feel a bit foolish since I didn’t realize it until recently (bought it second-hand). Have you experienced anything like this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve attached a screenshot of both tools.

The A8-7600 features 4 cores arranged into 2 clusters. Windows treats it as 2 cores with 4 threads, which isn't strictly correct, but performance remains normal.
