In recent days I've observed my RAM at idle with minimal activity hovering near 30%. However, when checking each process separately, the total usage stays far below the expected 5Gb. Could there be an issue with how the workloads are being reported?

Memory allocation likely. It might just be the operating system's need for more RAM.

Winblows consumes roughly 2gb of space, and while the operating system manages to release memory when necessary, it tends to be quite resource-intensive.

your system shows high stress at 30% for some apps, while others like windows stay at 90% and most OSes hit 70%. this inconsistency suggests different resource demands across applications.
