I'm nearing the conclusion of Talos Principle, though I haven't finished it yet. I've also played both Portal 1 and 2. From a narrative standpoint, Talos Principle clearly wins. The way it delivers information and manages the pacing is excellent—it keeps you engaged and allows time to reflect on what you've just experienced. It raises many philosophical questions about human extinction, survival, and what it truly means to live. Portal, on the other hand, stands out for its unique puzzle design. Unlike Talos Principle, which offers similar mechanics, Portal introduced fresh challenges without repeating familiar patterns. It also feels more accessible, especially with FPS platforming mechanics that are enjoyable for a broader audience. However, some found the fast pace challenging, particularly when using a mouse and keyboard. The co-op mode in Portal 2 was impressive, offering a satisfying experience.
