In short, the B450 Prime sometimes needs a hair dryer to power on. Today I needed it. W10 started, login screen appeared, then froze. I turned off the PC and restarted it again. Now I see the message “Bootmgr is corrupt – system cannot boot.” I didn’t know what to do. Restarted once and it worked.
Hey everyone, I think I’m facing a serious issue now.
My PC has a B450 Prime/ R5 3600/ Rtx 3060/ 1TB HDD Seagate Barracuda (or similar), NVMe M2 Kingston 1TB SSD, and 2x 8GB RAM (forgot DDRX). It’s running W10. I bought almost everything about this PC around three years ago. Recently upgraded the GPU. About a year after purchase, I noticed my PC would turn on with a hair dryer, especially on rainy days or nights.
Today it didn’t power on at all. But when I tried to log in, it froze on the login screen. Since then, I’ve restarted the PC.
I’m unsure if it was one step or another, but I’m really worried.

Now I don’t know the exact order:
1. Restarted and PC turned on, but now there’s a new error – “bootmgr is corrupt – system cannot boot.”
2. This time it worked in W10, but when I logged in, my desktop showed a blue screen (error not readable).
I’m panicking. I restarted the PC twice.

Now I turn on the PC and the motherboard lights come on, CPU and GPU fans spin as usual, but there’s no video at all – no display from the motherboard, no W10 screen, nothing.
I’m really worried. I turned off the PC, reinstalled everything (except the CPU), replaced all cables, changed the motherboard battery, reset the board, removed all peripherals. Just left it on and powered it up. Still nothing. The fans are on, but no video output.
I’m getting very anxious… Any ideas?
Edit: I found out it might be one of my RAM modules. I don’t know why or how, but that’s about it.
