The AI states: "Shields at 50%."
My response: "Captain, the shields are at 50%."

I should purchase this myself. It’ll be useful for tasks like moving power between systems or any actions that need you focus inside the HUD while ignoring external distractions.

I also think including a level of immersion would be beneficial at this stage. If it doesn't make it into the actual game code, it seems the SC crew is quite bold. In fact, they just dropped a lore short story with a scene where characters interacted with their ships like that. I plan to explore adding it as soon as I get back home.

It was actually quite fascinating, definitely needs improvement, he repeated himself several times and the calibration timing was slow, but it was still impressive!

I just had an idea. If you had your own recordings, you’d be able to hear your own voice speaking to you. It would be a conversation with yourself, highlighting your ego.

Speak in a distinct tone while sounding like you're being bothered. "Shields" "Yea yea I'll tackle it, wait a sec" Or "Once more!? Ugh!"

Most voice recognition systems aren’t used to my Belgian/Dutch accent—it looks great, but I think rebinding would give me more reliability. I don’t want to risk being misunderstood or having my voice ignored.
