Hello, I've been using the Dell Precision T3500 (Socket 1366) for several years now. It has performed all my needs and remains excellent. I didn't feel the need to upgrade until a bug appeared, so I swapped it in with a T5500 motherboard into a spare case. Paired it with a T5500 wiring harness and a 1000W T7400 power supply, everything worked smoothly together as a single processor system. However, the T5500 with one processor feels like a regular T3500. I upgraded to the correct riser board and added a matching processor and RAM. After setting it up and starting it, it boots fine but keeps reporting an error about a DIMM issue on slot 2, not related to any specific RAM type. Cleaning didn't resolve the problem. When I press F1, it loads normally and then powers off abruptly after loading the OS. The BIOS screen stays idle, but the OS fails to start from storage devices. I'm unsure what's going on. Any suggestions?
