Hello, my new computer is running well overall, but I've noticed occasional crashes during demanding games when I have many tabs open or multiple programs active. Despite having a lot of memory available, it seems the system struggles to keep up. I'm hoping my setup can handle these situations smoothly. The issues tend to appear in games like Ready or Not and Apex Legends when settings are set high. Usually I assume I don't have enough RAM for such configurations, but whenever it crashes, it doesn't release resources before closing, letting me check Task Manager. Memory usage is usually around 80%, though it looks full. It seems the 20% in standby mode is okay for performance, but I'd like to see active game files instead of virtual memory. One crash report stood out because it suggested a huge virtual memory size—though my settings look correct, and the actual available RAM seems much lower. The fact that after closing Apex, it reported only 65% usage (about 21GB) is confusing, especially since there should have been more free. I'm curious what causes these crashes and why the game claims such a large virtual memory size. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Apex has been specifically addressed for memory issues this season, particularly around when Olympus appeared in map rotations—leading to its removal. Respawn is reportedly working on solutions, and many players are facing the same problem. Stay calm, everyone is dealing with this issue.

This likely clarifies Apex's high RAM usage, but it’s unclear why Windows isn’t releasing unused memory.
