You can transfer Windows OS to a new drive, but you may need to reinstall some components. A performance boost is possible depending on your setup.

You're likely going to have to reinstall everything. With a Windows 11 system using this CPU and GPU, it's best to do so regardless. Make sure to download the AHCI disk controller drivers, unpack them on the installation USB in its own folder, and install the chipset, GPU, and network/wifi drivers. Wait until you're connected to the internet before proceeding. The AHCI/RAID drivers might appear during disk selection if you can't find your NVMe drivers. Click load driver and choose the folder where you saved them. Once installed and running, ensure the chipset, GPU drivers (from NVIDIA), and network/wifi drivers are all set up, then connect to the internet. This is because Windows automatically downloads updates from the Windows Update service, which may not provide the drivers you need.
