Good day everyone, yesterday the PC was running ARK while I was occupied with household tasks and came back to it, only to find it had shut down or seemed to have done so. Restarted everything and tried a 10 to 20 minute session; the machine powered off completely. During the stress test in 3dMark, it ran for about five minutes before shutting down (HWinfo logged no issues). The original PC remained on with only background applications running for 15 minutes before it also turned off. The event log displayed nothing except a critical system error indicating an unexpected power cut. *I plan to upload the event log and HWinfo CSV once I’m back tonight.*

System specs: Windows 10/64-bit, NR200p Max case (Coolermaster V850 SFX gold), 9700k Aorus Z390i Pro WiFi Vengeance LP, 32GB SSD, 3600mhz, 890evo 1TB SSD, 2TB HDD, Seagate Barracuda, Gigabyte Windforce Gaming OC 2080ti.

I’ll attempt to re-seat all connections and check for any grounding problems. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.

It might be related to overheating. Could you share your current temperatures while Ark is running? I’m curious to see if there’s any self-upgrades or overclocking done.

Didn't review ARK, but everything worked fine with the synthetic bench temps. Will recheck tomorrow night. No overclocking done on any system.

Thank you for the outside view. After trying it out, it clearly pointed to a heating problem. During a heat wave with the computer running for many hours, the issue disappeared afterward.
