Hey everyone, so in April I purchased an R5 5600X and a B450 Tomahawk Max. After everything was configured, my PC started working for about thirty minutes before it abruptly stopped. The monitor would go black and show a message like "no signal entering power saving mode." The fans were spinning but the screen would freeze completely. In the event viewer, I saw a kernel-power 41 error, which made me think I’d made a mistake during setup. I’ve inspected all cables, RAM, GPU, and everything seems fine. I even opened the case to check for dust or obstructions in the fans. At first it wasn’t a major problem—I could still launch League and the PC wouldn’t crash. But things changed when I started streaming or playing less intensive games; then the shutdown became frequent. Initially, it was just a minor issue, letting me play without interruptions. Recently, after replacing my CPU, the PC shut down only once and functioned properly. Then I increased the CPU fan speed to maximum and put the R5 5600X back in. The shutdown stopped. However, a few days later it happened again, this time while doing a stress test on my R5 5600X. I ran a TM5 memory test on both CPUs, and everything looked normal for the R5 1600. But during the test with the R5 5600X, I got around ten errors in just one minute. It’s possible there’s an issue with the power supply unit or maybe the problem is more severe than I thought. Right now I own a 650W Platinum MSI PSU bought about four years ago, a 1050Ti motherboard, and 16GB DDR4 3400MHz RAM.

Just completed an OCCT stress test with my R5 1600. The PC stopped working after about 25 minutes. During testing, I encountered an error: "CPU errors found on physical core #3 virtual core #7" for 5 minutes.

I've encountered the same problem with unexpected power cuts while using YouTube or a film. The issue seems consistent across both platforms. It might be related to the power supply.
