Your PC has been shutting down unexpectedly after extended use. The issue appears to be related to system instability, possibly from hardware changes or software conflicts. Your GPU and CPU temperatures seem normal, which rules out overheating as the main cause. The problem started after upgrading components and switching games, but now persists after switching back to Windows 11. The RGB on your motherboard and RAM stays active, yet the RAM display freezes. This suggests a potential conflict between the new OS and your hardware setup. Consider checking for driver updates, testing with a different USB port, or consulting manufacturer support for compatibility issues.

My initial thought seems to point toward a RAM problem. Are the modules placed properly in the designated slots on the motherboard? Does the system shut down repeatedly when not in use?

I’m placing my PC on the Home Screen to test its shutdown behavior. Also, the RAM sticks are installed in slots two and four, the ones farthest from the CPU.

Consider using MemTest86 for thorough RAM checks. Visit its official website for more details. Simply plug it into a USB drive, boot it up, and run the tests. This will help ensure your system's memory is functioning properly.

Looking for complete technical details about the system. When you refer to a shutdown, it means fully powering down and restarting it. Also, examining the Event Viewer during shutdown periods may reveal helpful logs or errors.

It turns off completely while your RGB settings remain active and RAM stays enabled, especially during gaming sessions.

This situation is different from when the system is under load. As bmx noted earlier, it would be simpler if we had complete system details. He also pointed out the Windows Event Viewer as something to check. I’m not comfortable with memtest, so I don’t know how to assist there, but you might try other stress tests like OCCT (which includes memory testing) or Cinebench.
