Hi! I encountered a problem with my new CPU setup. It’s running at a max frequency of just 4.3Ghz, which is lower than expected. Scores from Cinebench and 3DMark are not up to par. I’m unsure why this is happening despite the CPU specs suggesting better performance. The issue isn’t thermal throttling, but I tried connecting an 8-pin cable to the motherboard—there are only two ports available. Could anyone help identify the cause or suggest a fix? My configuration includes the I9-13900K, Noctua NH-D15, ASUS Z790-E, 32GB KINGSTONE FURY 6400mhz, 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 1200W PSU with direct power.

P-Cores aren't running at full speed. Are there power-saving settings in the control panel? If yes, switch to balanced or Performance for better performance. It might also be due to a functioning CPU cooler, but low temperatures could explain the lack of heat buildup.

I'm really confused... I didn't know I was using power-saving mode. Switching to balanced resolved the problem Smile Thanks for your help and everyone who assisted on this thread!
