I just put Windows 7 back on my main desktop. I have three external drives—one Samsung 850 EVO boot drive, a 500GB hard disk, and a 1TB hard drive. The 500GB and SSD are recognized by Windows, but the 1TB drive isn’t showing up in the hard disks menu. In Device Manager it appears present, yet it’s missing from the main list. What could be causing this?

Check the Disk Management for any assigned drive letters. If none are present, assign a new one and it should appear again.
