Hello All! First and foremost, this is a follow up post to my previous PC BSOD When Attempting Driver Update + Graphics Artifacting post. tl;dr of the post and it's "resolution" : I had VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE BSODs and artifacting with my old RTX 2080. I replaced it with an RX 6750XT which fixed my problem initially. A few days later, I witnessed my PC have multiple flickers during use which weren't too significant until today. The graphics completely cut out (screen black but on), not unlike the initial symptoms of my previous 2080 dying. When I rebooted the PC, there was an initial flicker of artifacting between BIOS and Windows login. I was unable to run any applications that would require a GPU (games/specific Adobe plugins) as they would say that there is no graphics device. HWMonitor and various other windows applications could not detect the GPU existing in general. Eventviewer showed a Kernel Power 41 error. Is this an issue with a faulty PSU? I'm looking to swap out the GPU for an NVIDIA GPU (preference reasons) and buy a new PSU to accommodate for the increase in wattage. Is this the right approach or am I missing something else/need to consider different parts? Thanks in advance. System Specs OS/Original OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (Purchased from a retailer) x86: x64 based Age : ~3 Years Age of OS Installation : 4/21/2021 - Concurrent CPU Model: Ryzen 5 3600 Video Card Model: PowerColor Red Devil RX 6750XT Motherboard : GIGABYTE X570 GAMING X Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 550 G3 80+ Gold System Manufacturer : Myself (Maybe I read the posting instructions wrong) Laptop or Desktop: Desktop Memory: 2x8 G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3600MHz Storage: Crucial P1 1TB NVME M.2 (Boot Drive), WD Blue 1TB Harddrive, Samsung 500GB SSD (Unknown model) Things to note chkdsk on all my drives (No problems) Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool (No issues) sfc /scannow on all my drives (No integrity violations) DISM Restorehealth (No change) Installed newest AMD drivers (No change)

Try DDU first, then consider drivers.

The average performance appears stable so far. It's unusual given the unchanged driver version and the GPU brand change after a clean DDU setup. If the problem returns, what should be your next action? Are you confident about the PSU assessment?

Edit: The previous flickering has resurfaced strongly now.

DP configuration for 144Hz output and HDMI connection at 60Hz from the GPU.

It seems the power supply unit is quite unreliable. Having problems with two different GPUs at once is unusual—could point to a PSU issue or a motherboard problem. It doesn’t make much sense for two GPUs to fail so soon unless there’s another underlying issue.

I fully agree with everything you've mentioned. I'm sure it's just about the PSU, not the MOBO.
