System stops working when memory usage is very high.
Two months prior I upgraded my older R5 2400g to an R7 5700x. After the change, my system began shutting down under heavy RAM usage. OCCT CPU/RAM benchmarks, Memtest86 and Prime95 Large FFT tests all triggered the same issue. This didn’t occur with my previous CPU, so I returned the 5700x for replacement. AMD provided another unit and I’m still experiencing identical problems. The behavior is unusual—shutdowns only occur when two RAM sticks are active, not with a single stick. I reduced the RAM speed from 2666 to 1866 and stability improved (successful Memtest86 and Prime95 runs), but the core issue remains. I’m uncertain about the root cause, possibly related to the RAM modules themselves.
