Hi Everyone, I’m dealing with a persistent problem where my PC crashes unexpectedly during high-load gaming sessions or when running several smaller games simultaneously. The crashes happen consistently under the same conditions, but stress tests don’t trigger them. When peripherals are removed except the monitor, the system runs smoothly, but plugging in the mouse or keyboard causes an instant crash, with the Event Viewer indicating a power loss. Despite having a new PSU, CPU, RAM, and GPU tested, I’m unsure what’s causing this issue. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share more details if needed.

Did you check the issue before the crash? A search suggested error 1000 might stem from damaged system files. You might want to execute sfc /scannow as outlined here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topi...6e85d4094e

sfc /scannow failed to resolve the problem. Another instance of the issue appearing independently from error 1000 was also observed.

Upgrade all connectors on your mainboard. Verify they're securely placed. Inspect them for any debris or damage: dirt, rust, etc. Remove any unwanted items. Empty your PSU, cooler, and other fans. Reattach the CPU if needed. Optimize your storage by defragmenting and scanning for malware. It's a simple but important routine.

I believe the error 41 only indicates when the crash occurred without explaining the cause. That’s why I often examine the events leading up to the failure. The previous instance with strange crashes didn’t help much either, and I ran a RAM test with memtest86, which confirmed everything was fine. Ultimately, it turned out the RAM was the issue. I replaced the faulty stick with a new one, and the problems disappeared. You might want to try using just one stick or replace it if it’s a single 32GB unit.
