System stops unexpectedly without warning.
Essentially my computer works fine, it doesn’t stop when under load and it can happen even when I’m browsing Google. I’m sure it’s not due to damaged software since I completely reset the system and it still occurs. The machine doesn’t overheat either, and there are no crashes—no sounds or screenshots, just a sudden shutdown like turning it off. What could be wrong with my hardware? Please advise.
Is this a new problem or have you experienced this for a while? If it's recent, a driver update could be responsible, though you'd likely see a log entry before the system stopped. For peace of mind, I recommend swapping out the PSU first. If the shutdown is complete, it might be the motherboard protecting itself by cutting power—an unstable PSU could trigger that. A failing PSU might also be due to dust buildup or interference from nearby devices like phone chargers. Try using a different PSU initially. If you have an older model with lower wattage, it should work, but avoid gaming on it. Check other components' temperatures beyond just the CPU and GPU; issues with storage or memory can cause crashes, though they usually don't lead to shutdowns. If power isn't the issue and no other devices share the circuit, the situation becomes more complex.
i ran the tests, the ram isnt the issue also no bios update.
