My computer stops unexpectedly while playing games like Valorant. I ran several benchmarks, including Heven for the GPU, about two to three times, and the GPU temperature stayed around 85°C. I’m confused about what’s wrong. After shutdown, when I restart, fans spin but the display doesn’t show up and GPU fans aren’t active. Eventually it restarts and works fine again. My system specs are a Ryzen 5 5600X with DeepCool AK400, Gigabyte B550 M Wifi Sapphire RX6600 (used), WD SSD SN570, and Gigabyte P650B PSU.
Because you purchased it secondhand, I can't determine its age. However, the thermal paste might have deteriorated.
How long have you owned the RX6600? If it was used, it might have had problems, which is why it was being offered. Something worth looking into. What model does it have? How does the airflow feel? As discussed, potential PSU tripping could be linked to a failing GPU.
