Hello, a friend of mine recently upgraded her PC about six months ago. A few weeks later it began shutting down unpredictably. I attempted to troubleshoot by examining the hardware for any visible damage. Everything was reconnected. I estimated the power usage of the components and suspected the PSU might be insufficient. I also checked the peripherals and monitored the CPU temperature, which stayed elevated before a full system reset. After wiping the SSD and reinstalling Windows 11 along with all required drivers, the PC functioned normally for roughly three weeks before the issue recurred. Reviewing the Windows error log revealed an error at shutdown (ID 6008), directing to a Microsoft support page. I’ve also learned from research that this could stem from GPU driver issues or the PSU, though I’m still uncertain. The GPU driver seems up-to-date. Have others encountered similar problems? Is there any known issue with these parts? Also, I’m adding a list of current hardware components—maybe some of them have reported problems. Thanks ahead for any advice, BR Kaesecake.

Only similar issues I've experienced were caused by the power supply. Her unit should have sufficient wattage if it's working properly, but that doesn't cover problems with the PSU itself or the power connection. Of course, you must always verify there are no mistakes. Is there a power-off switch on her keyboard?

A faulty power supply is likely the issue, so I’ll keep that in mind. Thank you.

It is also included in the newest release. I should note that I also made changes to the BIOS.
