Always go for a reliable Cooler Master 212+ cooler. Your CPU heatsink should work fine with a 2600, maybe you have some extra thermal paste? If not, just reapply it. Try setting the clock speed to 3.8GHz at 1.2V – this usually stabilizes things and can make your system run cooler and more efficiently. If that fails or causes crashes because of lower overclocking, drop it to 3.7GHz at 1.2V. Keep temperatures under 85°C; even with higher overclocks, boards often apply too much voltage, which is what I’ve noticed with Intel and AMD.
