Hey everyone, I recently assembled my new PC around 80 days ago. Everything functioned properly until four days back when it unexpectedly shut down while I was playing a game. Since then, games have caused my system to crash rapidly—sometimes in seconds, other times within minutes (under ten minutes). The shutdown happens abruptly, displaying a black screen without a blue one. No changes or updates were made overnight. I attempted troubleshooting by installing a fresh Windows, updating drives, checking RAM, and even replacing the memory. I ran Memtest86 on Memory 1, which showed no issues, but switched to new RAM. For Memory 2, I rebooted the BIOS, disabled/enabled XMP, and rebuilt the PC (I didn’t inspect the CPU pins because I don’t have thermal paste). My findings: A) With multiple RAM modules, crashes occur as described (XMP enabled or disabled). B) With a single RAM stick, the crashes stopped. Here’s my setup: Mainboard B550M DS3H rev. 1.5, CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5700X, GPU RTX 4070, SSD Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB, PSU Bequiet Silent 650W, Memory 1 (old): G.Skill RipJaws 4x 8 GB DDR4 3200 MHz, Memory 1 (new): Corsair Vengeance 2x 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz. I’m reaching out for advice and thanks. Greetings from Germany.

The BIOS version on the motherboard is not specified here. It mentions compatibility concerns with Ryzen processors and warns against mixing RAM sticks, emphasizing the need for a compatible kit with matched pairs. The advice suggests avoiding unstable configurations.

Join the discussions on the forums. There seems to be an issue with the system. Reach out to BeQuiet for assistance regarding an RMA.

Je pense que l'auteur n'est pas originaire d'anglais. Il semble s'agir d'une formulation en français, probablement liée à un produit BeQuiet.

It mentions compatibility with the gigabyte website, though it claims functionality there.

It's unclear why the issue only occurs with multiple sticks at once.

Start by verifying your setup with a different power supply unit. If unavailable, consider if the CPU, board, or RAM might be faulty. Also, test dimming in another area to determine if the issue lies with the board or processor.

Thank you for your feedback. I'll look for someone with a comparable power supply... otherwise, I'll forward the CPU, motherboard, and PSU details to the manufacturer.

Would you like me to perform a stress test now?
