specs: processor Ryzen 3700X board Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite memory 32GB G.Skill RipJaws-V 4x8gb 3200mhz storage 1 Toshiba RC500 NVMe SSD 1 Kingston Sata SSD 3 HDDs power supply Corsair RM850x gpu msi GTX 1070 gaming case NZXT H500 everything seemed okay after fixing cables and outlet but still blacked out. tried stress testing CPU and GPU with Furmark and Aida64, PC shut down instantly then wouldn't turn on again. suspect CPU might be dead and contacted AMD for warranty. anyone know what could be wrong?

The CPU failure is highly improbable. It might be the power supply unit. Have you tried another one for testing? It appears the PC becomes unstable at higher loads, and you haven’t updated the BIOS or reset the CMOS.

I experienced a response on my motherboard (x570 aorus Elite) after connecting the PSU and turning it on. The built-in RGB light in the corner briefly lit up white.

I also tried using 1 and 2 sticks of RAM. I took out the CMOS battery from both motherboards for about a minute without connecting them to power. No signs of anything there either.

Additionally, the RM850x was recently acquired from a well-known Dutch tech forum. The seller had excellent reviews from over 300 reviewers and sold several items. He mentioned the power supply unit had only been turned on for about 20-25 hours, as it was a demo unit. I reached out to him and inquired about its condition. He admitted he doesn’t know what it might be, but he believes the issue stems from the power supply.
