CPU model: Ryzen 7 7700X Cooler: iCUE H115i RAM Type: Silicon Power DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) Zenith - XMP/EXPO Off Motherboard: MSI PRO B650-S Wi-Fi GPU: Radeon RX 7700 XT Black 2TB Bootable 4TB drive Storage: 800W power supply I'm assembling a new setup here. I've booted from USB and the SSD each time, seeing the Windows loading screen and then restarting. While using both Windows and Linux, I ran a memory test but found no issues. I also tested each RAM stick separately and updated the BIOS to the latest version.

It won’t start the operating system, SSD, or USB, yet you can access the BIOS. When you enter BIOS settings and check the hardware list, does it display every RAM module you have installed?

It confirms the full dimensions for both sticks. I recently added more RAM, hoping that would resolve any issues with memory capacity. I visited a local repair shop, but they lacked DDR5 or AM5 components to test. If the problem isn't the RAM, it might be the CPU. Since the CPUs were bought used, I’m considering the motherboard next. It seems less likely given their reliability. I’ve inspected the pins on the motherboard and confirmed they’re intact, and the RAM slots appear undamaged.

Check another device to generate a bootable Ubuntu USB. Then test it to confirm it boots and remains operational.

I also used a Linux Mint USB that was sitting there. It worked when I booted into GRUB and ran the memory test, but once I switched to Linux directly, the outcomes stayed the same.

Ensure GPU is removed and boot without built-in GPU if necessary. The EZ Debug LED shows the motherboard's debug status. Red means CPU not found, yellow indicates missing DRAM, white means GPU not detected, green signals successful boot. Adjust BIOS settings accordingly.

No changes observed with IGPU or DGPU settings, regardless of status. Adding new RAM didn’t improve performance, though having extra RAM available is beneficial when everything functions properly. I’ll be patient and wait a week for the new CPU and motherboard to be delivered.
