System starts up yet screen remains dark, no input devices connected...what's wrong?
PC starts up but shows nothing on screen, no keyboard or mouse available... Assistance needed! A technician suggested replacing the motherboard, which I did, yet the issue persists. I followed the instructions to remove and reinstall the CMOS battery, but it still doesn’t function. Also cleaned the RAM and reinstalled it. However, when I detach the GPU and connect the mouse and keyboard, the system works but no display appears. I’m unsure what to do next.
It's possible that your PC hasn't post, or do you mean that it has boot to home screen, but no display nor input device (keyboard and mouse)? That is quite strange, does your CPU has integrated graphics? You may try to boot with integrated graphics (plugging HDMI/DP onto motherboard socket instead of GPU) just to see if it boots successfully Can you share the detail specs of your rig as well? (motherboard, CPU, RAM, GPU, PSU, etc)
