System starts up without any visual output.
I assembled my system about two months back and everything functioned well for more than a month. Recently, I encountered an issue where the PC starts but the monitor doesn’t show any signal. It works fine for a week, then suddenly it stops displaying anything. If I hold the power button down during shutdown and restart, it turns on again. Occasionally, when this happened, I unplugged all cables and left the machine off for a while—it worked normally. Now there have been two days without display output. I’ve tested various GPU drivers, but nothing resolved the problem. I’ve also tried reseating RAM, the GPU, double-checked connections, used different monitors with HDMI cables, and performed a CMOS reset. The main concern is whether the GPU is still functional after just two months. Could the drivers be causing the issue? Anyone has experience with this situation?
I restored the CMOS and tested three distinct monitors using various cables.
The problem isn’t likely with the hardware; it’s probably related to the software. Have you tried overclocking the GPU? Also, do you have access to the BIOS settings?
I haven’t performed any overclocking and can’t access the BIOS because the screen is black, yet I still hear the Windows boot sound coming from my headset.
