RTX 3060 paired with Ryzen 5 5600x on an Asus TUF B550 motherboard with 32GB RAM. I began using my PC today, watching videos on YouTube before putting it to sleep. After sleeping, I turned off the power and upgraded the CPU cooler. When I powered it back on, there was no display at all, though all peripherals remained connected. I verified the cables were properly plugged in and removed my GPU, only to find no CPU graphics available. I restarted the PC several times, and sometimes the peripherals connected while other times they didn’t. Please help—I built a small form factor (ASUS Prime AP201) and it seems to be a bit tight.

Do you have any outdated GPUs or old computers available? Any contacts who might own an older unit could be helpful. I’m uncertain about testing other components without a display. For simultaneous testing, examining the PSU could reveal issues if another working card doesn’t power on under that setup.

Are you sure no BIOS display is visible? Do you notice any beep codes or diagnostic lights? If the SFF compartment is full, remove all components from the bench for quicker troubleshooting. Reverting the recent modification could help. Have you reinstalled the previous cooler? That change likely caused the problem—consider rolling back it.

I also tried my old GTX 1060 and the issue persisted. I repositioned the CPU and cooler, checked for bent pins, and cleared the CMOS—still no change. The guides suggest it might be a faulty CPU, GPU, or PSU. I’m confused because the PC worked fine yesterday after upgrading the cooler. Should I reach out to my retailer for warranty support?

The monitor isn't receiving any signal. The motherboard lacks diagnostic LEDs, making it hard to determine the issue. I removed everything from the chassis and still have no improvement. Earlier, I replaced the CPU and cooler with fresh paste, but nothing has changed.

Does your motherboard have a speaker or buzzer? Many newer boards are cutting those out to cut costs. If not, try plugging in a wired headphone to the 3.5mm jack—it might make a sound. You could also look at the keyboard; some boards flash the Caps Lock or Num Lock LED as a code. No worries, I still think you should give the old one a try just in case the new one has a short. And don’t forget, even without a display, does the fan spin? Does the Caps Lock/Num Lock key affect the LED on an old keyboard? Good luck, and let me know if you need more help!

I located it, M Ram was behaving oddly and it started up after I swapped them around—great job on Corsair DDR4!
