System starts up but installation of Windows isn't working. Need clarification.
I recently tried a risky setup to dual boot Windows 11 alongside Windows 10. I formatted my primary storage drive accidentally, which caused major issues. When I attempted to reinstall Windows 10 from a USB, I encountered persistent errors about partition creation. Thinking it might be an SSD problem, I swapped in a cheaper replacement drive. It didn’t help. Now I’m stuck and need guidance. My system specs are: i9-9900k, 3070 Rog Maximus XI Hero 870, NVMe (main), and a temp Kingston drive. Updated April 1, 2023 by PhoenixSHope. Verify your boot configuration in BIOS. If you accidentally erased your primary storage, the motherboard could have switched back to older settings since it no longer recognized your GPT main drive. You may be able to revert to just UEFI or UEFI with Legacy support to resolve the issue.
