I completed assembling my initial PC. Connecting the power cable causes the fans to begin spinning, the RGB lights activate, followed by a strong fan sound and an immediate shutdown after roughly three seconds. After turning it off, pressing the power button yields no response; the system stays inactive. Reconnecting the power supply restarts the same sequence (lights on, shuts down quickly, fails to restart). I’m uncertain about the next steps.

It appears to be a buzzing or humming sound, possibly related to electrical components. It might indicate a power supply or delivery problem.

Overcurrent protection triggers in the PSU, resulting in a pop followed by no reaction when the power button is pressed. There appears to be a short circuit somewhere.

It's not a pop, it's just a loud fan sound. The paperclip test on the PSU worked, so I'm uncertain if the problem is with the power supply.

I should have mentioned it in the post. The sound is very loud, similar to a computer running under heavy use. It’s not a pop.
