Evening fine people
I recently relocated my PC from another room to a new one and attempted to power it up. When trying to start the system, the GPU, storage drives, and fan controller activated, but the motherboard failed to power on. The LED indicator didn’t light up and the CPU fan didn’t spin. When I returned the device to its original location, the same issue persisted. The power supply is receiving voltage and the fan controller works, yet the motherboard remains unresponsive.

Additionally, upon moving the setup, I heard unusual crackling noises from the power supply unit. This was unexpected and I questioned whether it might be a PSU problem, even though the GPU and case fans were working. I unplugged and reset both memory modules to rule out that as the cause, but the problem continued.

Turn off the CMOS, then stop all storage devices, take out one stick of RAM with one on slot A2, detach the discrete GPU, and check if the system boots.

Since the issue arose after the move, I think there might be a faulty connection formed during that process. Replace cable connections individually, testing after each adjustment. As before, consider reseating any boards one by one.
