I recently assembled a PC using a Gigabyte B365M DS3H 2X16 Vengeance Pro 3200 MHz, Seagate Barracuda 510 1TB SSD, Coolermaster 212 EVO i5 9400FT Lite. I attempted to power it on initially and heard possible beeps, though I didn’t catch them afterward. All fans operated normally, and the RAM’s RGB lights activated. After about 30 seconds it powered down. When I removed the RAM and took out the cooler, I inspected the CPU and found a few thermal paste residues on two contacts, which I gently cleaned with a paper towel. What might be causing this issue?
