Reset settings can be performed via the BIOS menu. It may be labeled as Load optimal options or a factory reset. The process should appear under the Save and Exit tab.

It seems you might have altered some BIOS configurations while adjusting settings. The RAM listed as 4800 MHz instead of 6000 MHz could be due to a misconfiguration or incorrect data entry.

Turn on XMP support. To see how you can locate the method for enabling XMP on your board—such as Asus models—search through the system settings. It’s typically labeled as DOCP on your device.

I watched the video to activate XMP I/II, but it caused the orange lights and prevented proper startup again.

You likely need to manually increase your RAM's speed using XMP settings. If that doesn't work, try power cycling the system. Alternatively, pressing the CLR_CMOS button on your motherboard (if available) or resetting the BIOS by shorting the pins can clear the firmware and restore defaults.

It seems you'll need to adjust the manual settings yourself. The brightness control worked. Thanks for your support!

Occasionally refreshing the BIOS can resolve these instability problems. If you're not using the most recent version, try it. Latest models offer better memory compatibility, which should address your concerns. You can find more details here: https://www.asus.com/in/motherboards-com...790-A-WIFI

My profile has been refreshed to the newest release. They mentioned the upgrade would handle larger DDR5 modules, but I’m still unsure why it isn’t being detected.

The memory in the QVL list is present. You might adjust its speed manually afterward. XMP acts as an overclock, so these unusual effects should be considered.
